yet another day and yet another 'end of the world' plague is upon us. i have no idea really if the book of revelation is a work of fact or fiction. not sure i really want to know, to be honest. just seems like there is a lot of crap covering the earth like a life sucking ooze and i just know that one of these damn things is really going to screw us up. sleep well boys and girls, for the end is upon us, yet one more time, and yet again from china.

i saw iron man yesterday. it was better than i was expecting, given past efforts of putting super hero's on the big screen. downey was spot on as tony stark and i truly enjoyed his performance. total eye candy and a 'wow look at that cool shit' type of movie. the popcorn with extra butter was awesome as well.

i will be off to see mom soon and start the day with her having a cup of coffee. she is able to walk some now which is exciting. she had a doctor visit in the week and he says she is doing just fine and can go full weight bearing. so, all is looking up and better on that front.

the fun starts at 10am at the local comic stores here in town. i will be headed to charlie's first then i will make it to hero and villains where there will be stormtroopers. as always, i will have my canon and will surly post an update this evening.

on a sadder note, little girl has moved out at last. it is a bitter sweet time and i am sure i will miss her. it is at times like this that i wish i was rich like tony stark and i could hire my own 'legendary ms. potts'.

it wasn't always fun and games...

on all those soccer trips. nooooooooooo, sometimes it was stark terror. it was always the hottest weekend of the summer it seemed like. all day in the sun, either watching or reffing soccer games with a ton of kids all day. then back to the motel with 15 screaming girls. oh gads, i am totally surprised i did it at all. sunburn and sick of pizza. what left you ask could be it store for this mere mortal of a dad? well, castles and coasters of course.

sunburned,feet tired,head hurting,sick to stomach,ready to strangle any child within reach, soccer season was not complete without a trip to castles and coasters and what else, turning yourself upside down once; oh no, but twice. of course, who is all smiles...hint, she is the one on the left.

it's that day, yet again

well boys and girls. i'm sitting here swallowing my morning necator and wishing i lived in a victorian age somewhere. today, i get to travel to north phoenix (scottsdale, for those of you who are sticklers for that sort of thing). it is time to go see the good doctor and let him poke, prod and otherwise take liberties with my throat that i never allowed either of my god-less heathen ex-wives to have. oh well, i know it is for the best, i just sometimes wish i could be normal and just say screw it. off to mayo clinic today. happy happy; joy joy.
