something a little different today

staying in adventure land but not postcards today. other items of interest in my collection:

prior to its opening on march 3, 1995; there was some excitement for the upcoming ride generated throughout the park. there was a cast member passing out these stickers which i wore proudly.

 

as the ride opened and for as long as supplies lasted, AT&T (who sponsored the ride) provided this card which translated the  “mara” font which is found in the ride queue. of course, holding up the line while translating was a no no and met with harsh critique from others in line.

i do have a map of the ride, but that is to large for me to scan.
